Segunda generación del Galaxy Chromebook de Samsung es oficial

Las Chromebooks siguen siendo ese nicho particular del mercado de las PC que muchas compañías prácticamente no quieren soltar y con razón. Una de estas compañías ha sido la surcoreana Samsung, quien ha anunciado previos a CES 2021, que nos tiene para este año.

Samsung anunció oficialmente la entrada del Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 como parte de juntar la marca Galaxy con las Chromebooks.

En esta ocasión tenemos una computadora basada en ChromeOS con una pantalla táctil QLED de resolución HD 1080p midiendo 13.3 pulgadas y particularmente, el modelo base tiene 4 GB de RAM junto con 64 GB de capacidad de almacenamiento.

El Galaxy Chromebook 2 está potenciado por un procesador Intel Celeron 5205U, pero puede ser mejorado (y de ahí más costó) a uno Intel Core i3-10110U pero mejora el RAM a 8GB.

En su físico incluye dos conectores USB Type-C, audio jack para audífonos, expansión de almacenamiento con Micro y finalmente, su webcam es de capacidad para tomar fotos y videos a 720p de resolución.

Sobre el sonido, Samsung reclama que la salida de la bocina mejorará mucho gracias al sonido Smart AMP, que es hasta un 178% más alto que el amplificador promedio.

Fuera de ahí, se debe esperar el Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 para el primer trimestres del 2021 con terminados Fiesta Red y Mercury Gray.
