Lionsgate estrena esta semana el thriller psicológico The Surfer, protagonizado por el único, especial e incomparable Nicolas Cage, como un hombre dispuesto a todo para poder “surfear” en el pueblo donde creció, y ahora es un extranjero.

Sinopsis: En este thriller psicológico surrealista de Lorcan Finnegan, un hombre (Nicolas Cage) regresa a la idílica playa de su infancia para surfear junto a su hijo, solo para ser frustrado por la estricta regla de los lugareños de “si no vives aquí, no surfeas aquí”. Amargado pero decidido a surfear en su playa —y a comprar la casa cercana donde creció—, el hombre sufre tribulaciones en su cuerpo y alma que lo empujan al límite. The Surfer es una meditación sobre el castigo, la tentación y la salvación que te afectará profundamente.
