Estrena primer tráiler de Pacific Rim: Uprising

El primer y tan anticipado tráiler para la secuela de Pacific Rim, Uprising , fue presentado durante el Comic Con en Nueva York.

Anterior a este tráiler, solo habíamos podido observar y conocer sobre el protagonista del filme Jake Pentecost, interpretado por el popular actor John Boyega. Este nuevo tráiler nos expande la visión sobre el mundo de Pacific Rim y en donde se encuentra el mismo luego de los eventos de la primera película. Además, nos permite disfrutar de excelente visuales y algunos pedazos de secuencias de acción del anticipado filme. 

Pacific Rim Uprising toma lugar unos diez años luego de los eventos de la primera película. El programa Jagger se ha convertido en la primera línea de defensa de la tierra. El protagonista, Jake Pentecost (hijo de Stacker Pentecost, interpretado por Idris Elba), regresa al programa nuevamente luego de ser convencido por su hermana adoptiva, Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) quien todos recordamos por su increíble participación en la primera película. Ambos se preparan para la llegada de nuevos monstruos conocidos como Kaijus.

Además de la historia, este avance muestra un poco de los nuevos Jaegers que podemos esperar en la película. Estos muestran poseer interesantes y dinámicas habilidades que honestamente no puedo esperar a observar en acción. También podemos esperar la llegada de nuevos tipos de Kaijus.

Tristemente Guillermo del Toro no tuvo participación en la dirección de este filme, el encargado de dirigir esta secuela lo fue Steven S. DeKnight (Netflix Daredevil).

Pacific Rim Uprising estará estrenando en los cine el 23 de marzo del 2018.
