En la Alfombra roja los actores de The Hate u Give

Amandla Stenberg, el director George Tillman, Jr. y la autora y guionista Angie Thomas estuvieron presentes en Londres para la exhibición en la alfombra roja de The Hate U Give en el Festival de Cine de Londres BFI. Amandla sorprendió a la multitud con un largo vestido negro Valentino adornado con joyas Hermes.

Sinopsis: Starr Carter está cambiando constantemente entre dos mundos: el barrio pobre, en su mayoría negro, donde vive, y la escuela preparatoria adinerada, en su mayoría blanca, a la que asiste. El inquietante equilibrio entre estos mundos se rompe pronto cuando es testigo del tiroteo fatal de su mejor amigo de la infancia a manos de un oficial de policía. Frente a la presión de todos los lados de la comunidad, Starr debe encontrar su voz y decidir defender lo que es correcto.
