¡Nunca digas Nunca! Teatro Breve lleva especial de stand-up al cine

24 de noviembre de 2025; San Juan, Puerto Rico – Teatro Breve y la actriz Marisé “Tata” Álvarez estrenarán su primer especial de comedia para cine, Nunca Digas Nunca, el próximo 7 de enero de 2026 en una premiere especial en el Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico. La producción de cine, dirigida por la reconocida cineasta Mariem Pérez Riera (Karol G: Mañana Fue Muy Bonito, Rita Moreno: Just A Girl Who Decided To Go For It), llegará a las salas de Caribbean Cinemas el 8 de enero de 2026.

Nunca Digas Nunca es una mirada íntima, divertida y profundamente humana a las contradicciones personales de Marisé “Tata” Álvarez, quien aborda temas como la experiencia de la diáspora, la identidad femenina, la salud mental y su relación con su padre, todo ello con un toque de humor honesto y una perspectiva contemporánea.

“Esta aventura me permitió unir todas mis pasiones: el teatro, la comedia y el cine. Es un proyecto muy personal, hecho de historias que me tocan de cerca. Nunca Digas Nunca es mi manera de entender la distancia, las expectativas y la nostalgia con humor y ternura”, expresó la actriz y comediante Marisé “Tata” Álvarez, creadora y protagonista del especial.

El proyecto fue producido por Teatro Breve, Marisé “Tata” Álvarez y Laurie Vega, con dirección de fotografía de Jeannice Mustafá y la postproducción a cargo de Reaktor Post. La puesta en escena fue dirigida por Jessica Rodríguez. Con este especial de comedia para cine, Teatro Breve continúa ampliando su repertorio de producción cinematográfica, tras el éxito de las películas Picando Alante (2021) y Parto (2025), reafirmando su compromiso con la creación de contenidos originales que retraten, con humor y sensibilidad, la vida contemporánea puertorriqueña.

El público general podrá participar de la Gran Premiere que se celebrará el 7 de enero de 2026 en el Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, reservando su espacio en teatrobreve.com.
