Rafa Campos lleva la bonita bandera a The Players Championship

(San Juan, Puerto Rico – miércoles, 12 de marzo de 2025) – Esta semana, y luego de 43 años, la bandera de Puerto Rico fue izada en The  PLAYERS Stadium Course (TPC Sawgrass) en Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Esto gracias a que Rafa Campos llegará mañana a The PLAYERS Championship por primera vez, producto de su primer campeonato en noviembre en el PGA Tour, el Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Luego de su paso esta semana en The PLAYERS Championship, la agenda de Campos en el PGA Tour continuará sin pausas. El golfista boricua irá la próxima semana a Valspar Championship en Palm Harbor, Fl; luego estará en el Texas Children’s Houston Open y el Valero Texas Open en San Antonio hasta llegar a Augusta, Georgia al Masters Tournament donde volverá a dejar una importante huella en la historia gracias a su tenacidad y esfuerzo en el competitivo mundo del golf profesional.

“Estoy viviendo mi sueño como golfista profesional y le agradezco a Dios por esta oportunidad. Siento gran orgullo por estar aquí y ver mi bandera en The PLAYERS Championship esta semana. Cada torneo es una nueva oportunidad para continuar trabajando, enfocar mi juego para inspirar a muchos jóvenes y niños puertorriqueños y latinoamericanos a que rendirse no es una opción”, puntualizó Rafa Campos.

Rafa Campos iniciará su primera ronda en TPC Sawgrass mañana, jueves, a las 8:13 de la mañana y el viernes, 14 de marzo su segunda ronda comenzará a la 1:18 de la tarde.
