Lo que tendrá Disney+ desde el principio

Historia original: Parafraseando lo que dijo una vez el Maestro Yoda; “Comenzado, la guerra de Streamers han”. Aunque existe Hulu, Crackle, HBO Now, y uno que otro distribuidor digital para nicho como Shudder, nadie se ha acercado a lo que se necesita para derrotar a Netflix, quienes se mantienen firme en su trono de Hierro.

Pero ha entrado un nuevo retador.

El 12 de noviembre comienza Disney+ (incluyendo Puerto Rico), el servicio de transmisión digital de Walt Disney, y definitivamente no vienen a jugar. Además de un agresivo precio inicial de $6.99, Disney+ viene armado con miles de horas de contenido incluyendo Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, 20th Century Fox, y la inmensa cantidad de propiedad intelectual que han establecido por tantas décadas, desde su primera película de Blanca Nieves y los Siete Enanos.

Y que no se me olvide el arma más poderosa del momento: la nostalgia.

A un mes de su lanzamiento, la cuenta de Twitter de Disney+ comenzó un largo hilo confirmando el contenido disponible desde el primer día, repleto de filmes y series con los que prácticamente todos hemos crecido. Desde filmes animados y actuados de Disney, hasta programas como Spider-Man y sus Fantasticos Amigos, y Las Gargolas (la cual, me atrevo a decir, es una de las más anticipadas).

Disney+ también ha prometido 25 series y 10 filmes originales durante el primer año, con más en camino. Algunos de los anunciados son Marvel’s Hero Project, Lady and the Tramp y The Mandalorian, entre otros.
