Fincher dirigiría la trilogía de The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Por más aburrida que sea la película, si se trata de David Fincher en la dirección la cosa cambia, y en muchos casos para bien. El director de Fight Club, no bien termina con The Social Network y tal parece que ya tiene un nuevo proyecto por filmar, se trata de The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, la trilogía escrita por Stieg Larsson y que se ha convertido en un best seller.

A The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo se siguen añadiendo nombres a la lista y recientemente se supo de Daniel Craig y Carey Mulligan, aunque aún están por confirmar. Sobre la película se dice que la misma tendrá un tono serio y serán clasificadas R, en otras palabras nada de paños tibios con esta trilogía.

En una entrevista a con Amy Pascal, Co-Chairman de Sony Pictures Entertainment, dijo: “We’re going to really do this, in all their glory. Otherwise why do it? They’re very R-rated movies. It’s the shock of what’s really going on underneath the surface of society. If you don’t actually make good on that, you haven’t told the story.”

Por último, cabe mencionar que The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo estará escrita por Steve Zaillian [Schindler's List, Hannibal] lo cual significa que de confirmar Fincher la trilogía apunta a ser una muy prometedora. Esperemos que para bien sea.
